§ 3.01. Council Meetings.

  • Newly elected members of the Council will assume their duties at the first regular or special meeting of the Council in January following a regular municipal election. Thereafter, the Council will meet at the times each month as established by ordinance or resolution. The Mayor or any two members of the Council may call special meetings of the Council upon at least twelve hours notice to each member of the Council. The notice must be delivered personally to each member or be left at the Member's usual place of residence with some responsible person. Meetings of the Council are public, except as otherwise permitted or required by law. Any person may inspect the minutes and records of the meetings at reasonable times.
