§ 2. Approval; effective date.

2.01.

The Project is approved, and planning, design and construction of the Project may proceed according to the procedures required by law.

2.02.

The purpose of this Ordinance is to comply with the requirements of Section 8.04 of the Richfield City Charter. This Ordinance shall not be construed to require that the City proceed with the Project; nor does it vest any rights in the Project to any individual or entity. The City Council reserves the right to abandon the Project or to modify elements of the Project, if the Council deems abandonment or modification to be in the public interest.
