§ 300.15. Legal department.

The City attorney is the legal adviser to the Council and the Manager. The attorney is responsible to the Manager for administrative matters affecting the legal department. The attorney shall represent the City in legal proceedings to which the City is a party and shall perform such other functions of a legal nature as the Council may direct.
