§ 1175.15. Trip sheets.

  • Each licensee shall keep a trip sheet noting the following information for each taxicab trip:

    a)

    Starting point and time;

    b)

    Termination point and time;

    c)

    Amount of fare charges and whether calculated upon meter, hour or trip basis; and

    d)

    Licensee's name and number.

    Each trip sheet shall be filed in the records of the licensee not later than 24 hours after the termination of a single day's work by the licensee. The trip sheet file shall be open to inspection by any City police officer at any time. The file shall be preserved for not less than four (4) years by the licensee. Failure to maintain trip sheets or falsification of trip sheets shall constitute a violation of this subsection.
